2018 Lois Price Spratlen Foundation Gala
Celebrate the future of advanced practice psychiatric nursing!
Join your colleagues and friends to support our advanced psychiatric nursing community at the Lois Price Spratlen Foundation Gala on from 12:30-2:30 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2018, at the Northwest African American Museum in Seattle.
You will also meet our 2018 scholarship recipients. Your support makes it possible for the Foundation to provide these motivated students with financial assistance.
Our speakers will be Seattle Police Sgt. Brandon James and University of Washington President Ana Marie Cauce, Ph.D.
Sgt. James is the recipient of the Seattle Police Foundation’s Excellence Award. As a narcotics officer, he has seen first-hand the devastating effects of drug addiction, and he praises the work of Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nursing in addiction treatment and working with vulnerable populations.
In addition to her administrative role, Dr. Cauce is a professor of Psychology and American Ethnic Studies. She maintains an active research program, focusing on adolescent developments, with a special emphasis on at-risk youth.
The Foundation is also proud to welcome UW Foster Professor Emeritus Thaddeus Spratlen, Lois Price Spratlen’s husband, as our honored guest.
